This is our 4th meeting in this spring break week!!!! Go team!!!!!
We started today’s conversation with reflecting on the interview with DFC’s other Champion, Orlando. He’s spreading the DFC seeds in St. Louis, Missouri. Orlando’s approach and many projects he’s been doing seem very close to our project. He also mentioned about how we get students involve with the Feel, Imagine, Do, and Share framework in their own time. It could take more then two semesters to let them actually familiar with the DFC framework and ready to start a project. However, the Feel and Imagine steps are worth to spend time. And don’t forget to let the students to really enjoy and have fun through the process!
According to the feedback we heard and the lesson plans from Design For Change USA’s website, Sarah and I dedicated another three hour today to plan the detailed agenda of the Pre-Meeting, 1st and 2nd workshops.
We are excited and thrilled to see these events coming!
